Tonight is part 2 of the top 8 in the Axe Music Indy Band Challenge & Talent Search at the Pig & Whistle Pub!! Last week saw The Future Relics and Bambi's Axe advance to the final 4 (& a shot at the awesome grand prize) on May 12. Tonight Southbound Crow, Reverend Kill, Shutter and JAB will play off to determine the other 2 finalists:) Great original music (& a few unique covers) by some of Calgary's best Indy talent.....come on out and support local live music!!!
Just a few spots left......register your band now for the Axe Music INDY BAND CHALLENGE & TALENT SEARCH!!! This is the BIGGEST showcase/original music competition event in Calgary, with more higher end prizes than any other local event and more PAID WEEKEND SHOWS at more different venues handed out to deserving participants! If you have at least a half hour set of at least 50% original music, you qualify!!!... All genres welcome; new and established groups.....let the music do the talking:) Our venue has full professional sound, including excellent audio techs on site all the time, so you will definitely sound your best....
