Satatennikon:raren - Take Care: Moccasin Flow with Lisa Hill Moccasin Flow Thursday November 19 6pm-7pm Join us on Thursday November 19, December 3 and 10 from 6pm-7pm on Facebook Live for yoga with Lisa Hill! ... Lisa Hill is a member of the Bear Clan of the Oneida Nation of the Thames, in Ontario, Canada, where she currently resides. She founded the company, Moccasin Flow, when her educational journey in Social Services collided with her passion for dance and movement. This passion has led to offering a new method of self-care that not only provides physical benefits, but can assist in finding greater balance in a spiritual, mental and emotional sense as well. Lisa has been a pow wow dancer for 40 years, with the bulk of those years dancing in the Fancy Shawl categories. She has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. This love for yoga and the healing within has led her to obtaining her 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification. Combining dance and yoga is the base for Moccasin Flow offerings. Currently, her focus is within the local school system, assisting staff and students to create greater self awareness and healing through movement. No experience required and all skill levels are welcome! Indigenous OCAD U students can receive an ISC water bottle by contacting [email protected] Facebook Live: facebook.com/IndigenousStudentCentreOCADU/ #yoga #moccasinflow #wellness #indigenous #indigenousstudentcentre
