Le sigh.... To all the couples who are now postponing on the DAY-OF their wedding, or (when they should be drinking mimosas and having their hair done) are now cutting their guest lists by 75% for THIS evening, I'm so so sorry. To all of our caterers who have prepped food for 100, and now will have to toss or (hopefully) donate what they can't use, I'm so sorry.... To the vendors who have lost another wedding on the year on the day-of the wedding, after preparations are complete, tulle is hung, greenery is tied and bouquets are curated, as well as many more future 2020 events, I'm so sorry. And to the Ontario government: ...Seriously? All of the other restrictions you have implemented, you gave notice a day or so before. But this one, you announce the MORNING of hundreds of weddings across the province. We can agree that something needed to be done, but why in the world couldn't this decision have been made a week ago, or even a day ago? Something to give these already tolled blooming family and vendors any form of notice. SAME DAY is not enough. And to the students who decided to party despite health units adamantly warning everyone not to, and to the few who have ruined this for everyone else, the DAY-OF many couple's weddings: When the world stops rotating around parties and social lives and frosh week, you'll hopefully fall in love, get engaged, and want the wedding of your dreams as well. When that day comes: 1. I hope you don't have to go through what you've put these other couples through. 2. Please don't inquire about our services.

It's so funny to me when friends ask why I occasionally share events and ideas that originate from other planning services. In so many industries and even different metropolitans, these companies are seen as "the competition."
