Here's a staff pick from Pam- also a Nancy pick! "By the author of the Winemaker's Wife another historical fiction taking place during WWII. I loved how richly detailed this book is and still an easy going uncomplicated read. We see the protagonist as a Jewish teenager during WWII and as an elderly woman in Florida. Working as a forger Ava keeps a book of the real names of children she forged documents for during the war. Later in life she has a chance to reunite those children with their real identities. The depth of characters is amazing. Loved it."
