And there they are already! Only 4 degrees outside and #haskap flowers have just opened up to provide the first source of food for wild #bumblebees. This plant continues to amaze in so many ways!

Every year we try to find a more efficient way to erect the enormous bird netting tent over the #haskaporchard. Planning is the first step. And laying it out on paper can be very helpful! Here is our orchard layout and each strip of paper represents one big panel of bird netting. We never knew that so much goes into farming!

Not a lot of gopher / vole damage from this past winter! Yay!! Probably because it was mild and way less snow than last year.

#Haskapfarming is expensive! For one, there are always more freezers to buy.
