Indus Riding Arena

Alberta’s live experience sectors have been hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The new Stabilize Program will provide support to help ensure they can reopen whe...n it's safe to do so. The program will provide one-time grant funding to live experience presenting and performing arts, sport and rodeo organizations. Qualifying organizations will be eligible to receive up to 25% of their eligible expenses based on 2018 and 2019 financials. Organizations may use funds for ongoing operational costs, such as utilities, rent, insurance and programming. Applications will be accepted until February 18. Good morning Members Please remember you must have a riding arena membership or pay a drop in fee. This can be done at www.indusrec.ca under the riding arena tab. Staff will be asking for proof as we have had many people not following this rule. The riding arena will be closed today at 2pm until Saturday evening after the Silver Spurs Barrel Jackpot. We need time to get water down and work the ground. I need to remind everyone we do not allow any alcohol consumption on BVAS... grounds including the riding arena area. The washrooms inside the Recreation Centre are closed to riding arena users for the time being. Please use the outhouses on the North side of the road. Thank you all and have a great weekend!!!

Good morning Riding arena members! I was glad to see so many came out to ride this weekend. I do need to ask that anyone using barrels while they ride move the barrels back to the side not all members want to use them. The arena should be good to ride on tomorrow. Note to members Monday evenings from 6-9 are always booked for a roping club so no open riding during those times. Lastly please remember you absolutely must have a membership or fill in a drop in membership form on...line and pay prior to using the arena! $100/family/year $50/single/year Drop in is $15/horse per rider Thank you all and enjoy the great weather!!!
