Tight space for an install - before and after pics! This client didnt think his space could accommodate a water system so had been suffering with poor water quality for years (rust/hard water stains, smell, not able to cook with or drink the water). To all our valued clients to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close all Infinite Water branches, effective Monday, March 30, 2020. Our organization wishes to lead by example. Those on the front lines health professionals protecting our lives, transportation providers keeping the supply chains open, farmers and ranchers keeping food on our tables, and many more do not have a choice about doing their jobs. We do, a...nd we strongly believe that the private sector has an obligation to protect our communities, even if it means sacrificing profit. Our business relies heavily on in-home appointments, including installing/servicing water systems as well as water consultations. We have followed strict safety protocols this month, however, as the situation escalates, we have decided that a short-term but complete shutdown of all branch activity is necessary, for the protection of our clients and employees as well as the longevity of the business. This is obviously a fluid situation and we will be re-evaluating at the end of April. We have individually consulted with each of our staff members to ensure they will be taken care of during this break, and they will all be alright. Everyone is looking forward to focusing on family. Life hack, for those of you noticing you have dry/itchy/red/cracked skin from washing your hands so much. It is largely the chlorine and hardness of the water that dried your skin out (and of course alcohol-based hand sanitizers, which we know arent as effective), not so much the frequency of hand washing. Put a deposit down on a big blue (18.9L) jug and fill it with RO (reverse osmosis) water which is inexpensive and free of chemicals and hardness. You can refill the jug ...for $1 at places such as Giant Tiger. Get a hand pump from us (no charge for a limited time, regular price $15) which dispenses the water for you. Place the big blue jug in your bathroom by the sink, and use that water to wash your hands with. Theyll stay smooth and breakout-free, even if you are washing your hands dozens of times daily. Please share! And PM us to arrange collection of your free hand pump :)

It is a common misconception that you cant make seawater drinkable. It is very possible, it is can just be expensive. Sea water is 35,000 ppm of salt (35 grams of salt per liter of water) whereas drinkable water requires less than 300 ppm of salt. Double passing the sea water through a commercial reverse osmosis membrane will generally do the trick, as long as it is pre-treated properly to prevent plugging up the membrane. Cities like Dubai use this approach for their potable water. It just requires a significant amount of energy to push it through.
