Circular Economy I’ve taken a deep dive into @provinceapothecary products in the last couple of years.Glassblowing is hard on the skin, so I combat the heat and dryness with serum and rescue balm.The PA products come in these gorgeous cobalt blue bottles, and when I finish one I just don’t have the heart to toss them in the recycling bin.I’ve started heating them up in my glassblowing furnace and reworking them into other objects so they’ll continue their life of usefulness.This little ring dish started out as a mini serum bottle and now it sits proudly on my bedside table! #circulareconomy #recyclingglass #reworkingglass #ccobaltblue #ringdish #itusedtobeabottle #provinceapothecary #bottlerecycling #maximumvalue #keepitoutofthelandfill #reimaginerecycling

It all starts with a blob of unruly molten goo! The glass comes out of my furnace at 2100 degrees fahrenheit. I gather it on to the end of my glassblowing pipe, then form it with a wet wooden block. I then do some fine tuning of the shape with a pad of damp newspaper. I had the best afternoon with the fabulous @eucliddesign.co styling vases with fresh sprigs. . It was fascinating to watch her work, seeing her eye for the small floral details and also her crazy skills in choosing *just* the right plant to go with each vase. . Glass Feathers! Back by popular demand, this year I have some really snazzy colours! This one in particular is definitely my fave, it’s metallic blue and oh so hard to photograph to properly do it justice .
