I love that vitamins and minerals can improve your health..

Diarrhea Diarrhea loose, watery and possibly more-frequent bowel movements is a common problem. Luckily, diarrhea is usually short-lived, lasting no more than a few days. But, when diarrhea lasts for weeks, it usually indicates that's there's another problem. If you have diarrhea for weeks or longer, you may have a condition such as irritable bowel disorder, or a more serious disorder, such as a persistent infection or inflammatory bowel disease.... Signs and symptoms associated with diarrhea may include: Loose, watery stools Abdominal cramps Abdominal pain Fever Blood in the stool Mucus in the stool Bloating Nausea Urgent need to have a bowel movement. When your gut microbiome becomes imbalanced (otherwise known as gut dysbiosis) from bacterial overgrowth, it can result in a chronic bout of diarrhea. When bad bacteria begin to outnumber the good bacteria in your body, your digestive tract will no longer be able to function normally. Any bout of acute or chronic diarrhea, regardless of the cause, can strip the bacteria in your gut and result in gut dysbiosis, which can exacerbate the issue creating a very uncomfortable negative feedback loop. Regardless of the cause, any type of chronic diarrhea can have lasting effects on your body and your health, so it is absolutely critical to be both proactive and reactive with probiotics. The human microbiota consists of the 10-100 trillion symbiotic microbial cells, these being primarily bacteria in the gut.6 Our ability to understand this complex system in our body is ever-evolving but what is certain is that the microbiota plays an important role in regulating our digestion, metabolism, inflammation and overall systemic responses in the body. In the upcoming posts I will talk more about the other signs of gut health how you can improve it. Certified Wholistic Health Coach Janet Lofstrom

Happy Thanksgiving! I love sharing how our products changes one life. Having RA is a challenging disease. Balancing medications with quality of life can be a crap shoot. For me being on meds meant feeling sick all the time and no quality of life. I was on 7 meds, a morphine patch on my back and spent most of my day laying down. Fast forward... 5 years ago I dropped 6 meds and exactly this weekend 3 year ago I stopped the last med Plaquenil which caused me to have two ey...e surgeries. Yes I take lots of supplements and CBD products but I would rather choose natural than go through what I did 5 years ago. My blood work is great and I see my Rheumatoid specialist every 3-4 months. Going natural is my choice and it is working for me. World Arthritis Day is an annual awareness day observed on October 12 in many countries throughout the world. Its main goal is to disseminate information about joint disorders that are collectively known as arthritis, as well as to raise public awareness of challenges that people with arthritis have to face every day. Arthritis is an umbrella term often used to describe any disorder that affects joints. Generally, by arthritis people mean one of the diseases where joint pain is primary, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and others. However, arthritis can also be a secondary condition to a wide range of diseases, from psoriasis and celiac disease to Lyme disease and lupus. Overall there are over 100 types of arthritis. Typical symptoms of arthritis include joint pain, stiffness and decreased range of motion, skin redness, warmth, and swelling of the affected joints. The disease typically becomes more common with age, but some of its types affect young people and even children and teenagers (for example, juvenile idiopathic arthritis). Arthritis is one of the most common causes of disability. World Arthritis Day was created to raise public awareness of all forms of arthritis and emphasize the importance of early diagnosis of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. Some forms of arthritis, such as fibromyalgia, may remain undiagnosed for up to 5 years, and a delayed diagnosis makes it harder to treat the condition. I should take a new pic. No more plaquenil.

Is gas normal? The average adult passes gas between 13 and 21 times a day. Gas is a normal part of the digestion process. But if gas builds up in your intestines and you’re unable to expel it, you may start to feel pain and discomfort. Gas pain, bloating, and flatus frequency can be exacerbated by anything that causes diarrhea or constipation. Gas can also be caused by:... overeating swallowing air while you eat or drink gum chewing smoking cigarettes eating certain foods Just to name a few! In the upcoming posts I will talk more about the each signs how you can improve your gut health. Certified Wholistic Health Coach Janet Lofstrom

When your gut is healthy, the rest of your body runs along happily. That's because your gut influences everything from your digestion to your brain and your immune system. If your gut isn't at its healthiest, you may experience some apparent digestive symptoms, like gas, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea. But there are some less obvious signs, too. Poor concentration, fatigue, and skin problems can also point to gut issues. Your gut is home to trillions of bacteria along w...ith yeast and viruses that live among this bacteria. Collectively, these microorganisms are called your gut microbiome. Although everyone’s microbiome shares some similar characteristics, there are also vast differences. You are one-of-a-kind with a gut microbiome as unique as a fingerprint. When the bacteria, yeast, and viruses that live in your gut are in balance, the rest of your body is in harmony too. However, when things go awry, and the bad bacteria are able to take over the good, it can lead to an unhealthy gut (also called gut dysbiosis), which negatively affects the rest of your body. Here are some of the signs to look for: 1. Gas and Bloating 2. Diarrhea 3. Constipation 4. Mood disorders 5. Poor concentration 6. Skin inflammation and acne 7. Sugar cravings 8. Chronic fatigue 9. Weight gain and obesity 10. Autoimmune diseases What causes gut issues? Poor diet is one of biggest causes of gut issues. While good bacteria thrive on things like fiber and plant foods, bad bacteria and yeast love processed foods and sugar. And when your diet is full of processed foods and sugar, as many Western diets are, the well-fed bad bacteria start to overtake the good. Your diet is so important that it can cause undesirable changes in gut health even in a short period of time. Other factors that can contribute to gut issues include: Chronic stress Frequent antibiotic use Medications Travel Food intolerances Poor sleep Alcohol How to support your gut. Fortunately, just like there are a lot of things that can contribute to an unhealthy gut, there are a lot of things you can do to improve your gut health and bring your body back into balance. You need to Clean up your diet One of the first lines of defense against an unhealthy gut is diet. The food you eat has a direct effect on the balance of bacteria in your gut. Fiber and complex carbohydrates feed the good bacteria, while sugar and processed foods feed yeast and allow pathogenic bacteria to grow. To keep your gut healthy, avoid sugar and processed foods and include plenty of high-fiber vegetables, healthy fats, and lean proteins in your diet. Focus on getting plenty of prebiotic foods, like asparagus, flaxseeds, artichoke, and jicama, too. Prebiotics help feed the good bacteria in your gut so that it can multiply and push out the bad. A testimony from a client... I put my 96 yo mom on HB&J pak, Gluco-gel, Selenium since last year. She told me she can reach the top cabinets in the kitchen, so she has grown in height a bit. Her doctor told her to keep up doing what she is doing coz her blood work looks great. I do have to up her egg intake. She used to have a painful shoulder. Pain is gone. Her friends don't believe she has no pain. She says that I can't know more than her doctor, since I'm the one who got her on this. She won't believe. But my mom has no pain and can still walk up and down the stairs at 96 ! If this interests you send me a message and I can help you!!

I started a new health and supplements plan a few months ago and these are the changes I’m noticing 1. Blood sugar was out of control-Now blood sugar stabilized and no longer have Junk food cravings. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hips, knees, ankles, and hands. Dr. told me Anti-inflammatories would become my New best friend- Now joint pain and inflammation is gone. Healing and rebuilding Cartlidge between my joints 4. I was depression, not sleeping and had so much anxiety- Now I sleep, my mental health is back where it should be and my anxiety is gone 5. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis when I was 40. My spine at that time was equivalent to an 80-year-old and my bones hurt all the time and my low calcium was starting to affect my kidneys. - my kidneys are working normal again and my bones no longer hurt. Looking forward to my next blood work and bone density test. 6. My skin is improving!! How are you feeling? http://ltl.is/tSq7h
