It’s time for the Ingersoll Chamber Golf Tournament! We’ve made adaptations this year to keep you and your team safe! First, choose your tee time.... Second, use tickets to select your ideal raffle prize. Third, play your game of golf. Fourth, pick up your meal - either to eat at the golf course (physically distanced of course), or to take home with you. The golf tournament is a great way to support local while still staying within your bubble! We hope to see you there! https://ingersollchamber.com//ingersoll-golf-day-tee-times/

Supporting our restaurants is a win-win. Together, we will create the conditions for more Canadians to get back to work and prevent the failure of a key industry. Chambers of commerce, industry associations and food service companies all across Canada are also working hard to make sure our restaurants can continue to be there for us. If each of us does a little, it will make a big difference. The COVID-19 crisis is having a disproportionate economic impact on women. There are two main reasons for this. First, temporary business shutdowns during the state of emergency most severely affected sectors that predominantly employ women. Second, restrictions on schools and paid child care facilities have shifted additional hours of unpaid family care onto parents, and this work has largely been taken up by mothers. The pandemic experience has been especially challenging f...or already vulnerable groups, including racialized women, single mothers, low-income women, newcomers, and women with disabilities. Read the Ontario Chamber’s latest report "The She-Covery Project: Confronting the Gendered Economic Impacts of COVID-19 in Ontario". This brief provides practical recommendations to confront both immediate and longer-term challenges faced by women. https://bit.ly/3m1VYq1
