PORSCHE 911 TURBO A client came to us with a clear glossy PPF installation in mind, but when we showed him the stunning matte PPF finish on one of our cars, he was sold. The white color) to be frank, my least favourite when it comes to vinyl wrapping... Especially black wraps on white cars))) this always requires taking off the body panels and optics, in other words prepping the car more thoroughly for tucking the film in all the gaps... which takes 1 more day of work... cause if the car is black... then you can cut right on the gaps without disassembly... Of course if you prep it well which includes: - At least 2-stage car wash with prep che...micals - Air dry all the gaps using a professional high-pressure airline... not just some shop vac - Clay and degrease all the surfaces And obviously do the wrapping job in a clean and dry environment! Our shop does not have problems like opening a garage door and getting snow blowing into the workspace all the cars make it through the detailing car wash and the indoors of a vehicle factory before getting into our studio... Which is a perfect environment for your car to be worked on... But I digress))) Surely it will cost like 30% more... This takes time... You can't wrap a black and a white car equally well in just 3 days... You're running a risk of seeing the white car coming back for rework shortly after))) and you'll be back to taking the body panels off one way or another! But the result of such work is always impressive to be fair... As this contrast from one color to the opposite drastically changes all the car's visuals.
