Innercore Health remains open during this mandated lockdown. Stay safe and see you soon
Innercore Health remains open during the mandated lockdown on December 26,2020. Thank you for your support during this very difficult year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We will be closed on December 24 and will reopen on Monday December 28, 2020
It’s been a while but looking forward to returning to work on Monday. Can’t wait to see you guys. Enjoy your weekend. - Ken
First time in the gym after a long hiatus. Met with the surgeon on Monday and recovery is going well. I’m hoping to return to work sometime in October. Can’t wait! Take care of yourselves and I will see you real soon.
I have some important news that I would like share with you. Back in the fall/winter 2019 I suffered a neck injury that was causing all sorts of problems. I cut my workload down and with some rest and treatment, I was feeling a bit better. In early July, I had another MRI done on my neck and in consultations with my doctors, I’ve decided that surgery is the best course of action for my long-term health. My surgery will be happening on August 10, 2020 which means that I will... be taking time away from the clinic. The recovery for this type of surgery is 2-3 months. While I’m away, Dr. Arjun Bali will be taking over care for my patients. He is certified in Acupuncture and will be a great addition to the clinic. The clinic will run as normal while I’m away. As I venture another obstacle, I wanted to thank you all for your support over the years. I promise you I will come back stronger, healthier and more determined than ever before. Take care of yourselves. Ken
Good news. Massage therapy has started up again. You can book online at innercorehealth.janeapp.com Dr Ken also has some availability for tomorrow morning. Take care and we hope to see you soon
Dear Valued Patients, Innercore Health has currently reopened for Chiropractic and Acupuncture treatments. We would like to share some important new protocols that will be strictly adhered to in order to offer a safe environment for our patients and staff: All clients are required to fill out the covid-19 screening form prior to your appointment to ensure you are healthy enough to attend... In order to properly sterilize the treatment rooms between patients there will be time booked for cleaning purposes, meaning we will be offering fewer appointments for the time being. Patients will be required to wear a mask, if you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you. Hand sanitizer has been placed by the door, please sanitize your hands upon arrival. Please arrive alone, as we will have reduced seating to adhere to social distancing protocol. Your appointment will begin at the scheduled time, please do not arrive early. Self check-in is available through the link provided in your reminder email and reception will call you in for your appointment. Please be patient as we navigate this new normal. We are happy to be back and look forward to seeing you all soon,
We will be reopening for Chiropractic and Acupuncture care on June 8. Massage will not be available just yet. Online booking is activated Innercorehealth.janeapp.com
Innercore Health will be reopening very soon. Further updates coming up!!
Great news tonight. The Ministry of Health has allowed Chiropractors to reopen their clinics. That means Innercore Health will be open for Chiropractic and Acupuncture very soon. Once I hear back from my massage colleagues,I will let you know whether massage can be restarted as well. Please be patient with us as we begin this next phase and return to normal. We are still waiting for certain PPE for our clinic which should be coming in the next few weeks. I will not reope...n the clinic for regular care until we are ready and the proper safeguards are put into place. I will still be able to treat emergent and acute cases. Thank you all for your support over the years but especially the last few months. Many of you have reached out to me with words of encouragement and I’m truly grateful for that. I will have more info for you in the coming days/weeks. Take care and I will see you very soon.
This whole pandemic hasn’t been easy on anyone. As the government starts to lift restrictions, we are making plans for our reopening. We’ve recently signed a deal with Cintas to equip the whole clinic with automated hand sanitizer dispensers. We’ve also been able to source surgical masks and gloves. In addition, plexi glass barriers will be installed at the reception desk. We’ve also ordered custom scrubs to wear at work. This way, we can launder them at work and there is n...o cross contamination leaving the clinic. We take patient safety very seriously and I hope this shows you how serious we are about your safety. When things open up again, we hope you will come back and use our services. You will still see the same familiar faces and expect the same level of service. Take care of yourselves and I truly miss seeing you all. Ken and the staff at Innercore Health
We miss you all and can’t wait to celebrate when we can reopen and see your beautiful faces again! Stay healthy and stay safe. We are on the downward slope of this curve.
Innercore Health will be closed indefinitely. This was a hard decision but it is the right one. We will be reaching out to patients regarding their appointments. We hope to re-open mid to late April. Remember, we have a lot to be grateful for. Health care workers who are protecting us every day, grocery store employees working so we can eat, janitorial staff cleaning around the clock and the list goes on...... When this is all said and done , I will remember how amazing Canadians were. How our government helped us out financially, how we all stayed inside and how I got to spend a lot of time with the people I love. I can't wait for all the parties and hugs that are going to happen in the future but for now, one day at a time, one step at a time. We will get through this together.
Thanks to all of our front line workers who are out there risking their lives to help us. I hope you will take care of your mental health as well. Going for a walk, meditating and deep breathing exercises will help in stressful times like these. I'm here for you if you have any questions or concerns, if you would like to tele conference, you can reach me at [email protected]. I know a lot of people are worried right now but we will get through this together. ... I will always remember one of my patients who was battling stage 4 metastatic cancer said to me so many years ago... "What we're going through is a storm...storms don't last forever..that I can promise you" Thanks to all of our front-line workers who are out there risking their lives to help. I hope you will take care of your mental health as well. Going for a walk, meditating and deep breathing exercises will help in stressful times. There’s a wonderful app on iOS and Android called Calm. It helps deal with stress/anxiety and will even read you stories to help you sleep. I suggest you download it. I'm here for you if you have any questions or concerns. If you would like to tele conference, you can reach me at [email protected]. I know a lot of people are worried right now, but we will get through this together. I will always remember what a stage 4 metastatic cancer patient said to me so many year ago.. "What I’m going through is a storm and I know that storms don't last forever. Be well and look out for each other. Ken
March 16, 2020 To Our Valued Patients: After careful consideration and closely monitoring COVID-19 in our community, we have made the decision to close the clinic for 2 weeks in order to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff. This was not an easy decision as we are aware of the needs of the patients and families that we support and care for on an ongoing basis. ... We feel that closing our doors in light of what is happening is the best action to keep us all safe. We hope you will come see us again when we reopen in a couple of weeks. We hope to reopen on Monday March 30, 2020. For people who have appointments prior to March 30, 2020 we will be in touch to reschedule In addition, emergency clients will be considered on a case by case scenario, please email the clinic [email protected] if you require immediate assistance. We appreciate all of you and thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Dr. Ken Hou and the staff at Innercore Health
Recently, Shelley, our massage therapist returned from a trip to Florida. Even though her risk of exposure was small and she is asymptomatic , we’ve come to the conclusion that she should be in self isolation for 2 weeks. As a result, we will be cancelling/rescheduling her massage appointments for the next 2 weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience but these are unprecedented times and we are taking every precaution for the safety of our valued clients.
To our valued patients: If you are sick or feeling symptoms please reschedule your appointment. At Innercore Health, we will be waiving any last minute cancellation fees due to illness. Your health and safety is of utmost importance. Please take care of yourselves and exercise precaution. ... Ken , Shelley, Andrew, Rebecca and Jacqui

To my valued clients and friends: What a month it has been. What I thought was carpal tunnel turned out to be much more. It turns out I have multiple herniations in my neck which was causing spinal cord compression and all sorts of weird symptoms. Due to a very astute medical Doctor I had the appropriate testing and we found the culprit. Life is full of ups and downs but after going through something like this you realize what's important. Please take care of yourselves beca...use I didn't for far too long. I will be cutting down my workload for the first time in 14 years. Please be patient as I slowly get back to "normal". I will be just fine, I just need a little rest. Take care Ken
For all my friends and clients, if you need help please take a screenshot of this card. It’s a 24/7 crisis service for people living in Elgin, Oxford , Middlesex and London. They help with mental health, addictions and crisis services. Hopefully this will help save a life one day or help those in need. #wellness#endthestigma
