This week for literacy we focused on the letters T and U , as well as spent extra time learning how to tell the difference between E and F! A trick we use is E has 3 because the rhyme helps us remember. For our numbers/math focus we continued to work with patters and number games, similar to hopscotch and the number ball game we played last week. This week we started out new theme: in the garden. We made many flower crafts and did some finger painting which you will see on... the covers of our activity booklet that we will take home at the end of the summer, this book has all the work pages and paper activities we have done. Next week we will be looking at different bugs we find in the garden!

Happy Friday everyone! This week for literacy we focused on the letters R and S and read many stories together. FINALLY we had some nice weather so we spent lots of time playing various letter and number identification games! Some of our favourites were number jump (hopscotch) and letter hunt! In addition to the new games, for our numbers/math focus we continued to work on our number tracing books and used many songs to practice counting. This was the last week of our wild a...nimals theme, so for crafts we made giraffes, racoons, and snakes! Todays craft was a bit different as we made suns to celebrate that we are moving into a new month, that we are about to have a long weekend, and to introduce our new theme for August: In the garden! Just a quick recap of last week! We learned the letters O and Q, practiced our motor skills using scissors, made number crowns and played dice games, learned about different owls, as well as deer and foxes, then we played with shakers and sang songs about counting, we also had a yoga disco dance party! Hope everyone had a great weekend- can’t wait to see you on Monday!

A COVID-19 Driveway Graduation

This week we made some bracelets, learned the letters m&n, made some crafts of wild animals, had music classes and spent lots of time outside!
