Victorias LlamaZOO, a leader in data visualization, has signed a partnership with Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation that will enable them to become the first First Nation in Canada to use digital twinning software to improve land management and stewardship. LlamaZOO was recently awarded $300,000 from Innovate BCs Ignite Program to commercialize their TimberOps software. Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation will leverage this technology to create a digital twin of the nations 350,000+ hectares of territory on Vancouver Island.

Today Western Economic Diversification Canada announced $2,950,000 in federal support to help businesses in BCs tech sector address the impact of COVID-19.
