Traveling the highways and byways of our wonderful Maritimes and enchanted Nova Scotia you never know what might be discovered. There is Global Food Movement called Slow Food. It respects the traditions of our past on local and regional levels. There are Slow Fish, Slow Cities and more. It might seem that our region could easily be called Slow Nova Scotia. The slower we go the more we see and the more awesome the discovery of why so many call it Home and more reason that fol...ks return. Inn-Spired! Everyone has their moments.....
It's in the Air! Spring. Summer. Love. Explore Nova Scotia with www.InnsofNovaScotia.ca Is it true? 'Love's a Beach at Sunrise.'... Photo Credit: Acorn Art & Photography ~ "Summer Smile II"
The Season is upon us. Soon the docks will be in, the marinas open, paddles tickling the surface and boarders not being bored. Sea shore and fresh waters await. Inn-Spired! Photo Credit: Betty Meredith
The Nature of 2020 has Inn-Spired many to explore the great out of doors with a more dedicated mindset than perhaps 3 generations or more. The fresh air, the nuances of Mother Nature and more instill a greater insight into self. {one philosophy} Whether you're inspired to get out the hiking boots, polish camera or writing skills or being the more creative chef at home or simply become vitalized by roaming the side roads of our beautiful Nova Scotia... it's all within reach. ... www.innsofnovascotia.ca Photo Credit: Simon d'Entremont Nature Photography ~ "Had an amazing morning out photographing birds. Given it was cold and calm, I went to a location looking for singing red-winged blackbirds so I could photograph their breath while singing. I got those shots, plus birds with nesting material, but the highlight was 100-150 of this species, feeding on berries for the migration north. I had hardly seen any this winter, so running into this group was awesome. My arm was tired after the morning, as I took 3500 shots before I was done. Worth it though. Bohemian Waxwing (In French, Jaseur boréal), Miners Marsh, Kentville, Nova Scotia. April 11, 2021."
With real life images like this to be found throughout Nova Scotia 'the Beautiful' its hard to imagine a staycation, vacation, getaway...or a day to play outing without walking slowly and connecting our senses to this cornucopia.... Inn-Spired...Visit Inns of Nova Scotia along the way. Photo Credit: John Robichaud ~ "The Bay of Fundy is an amazing wonder. Twice daily, 100,000,000,000 tons of water wash in and then out of the Bay. It's an inconceivable volume of water. More ...than all of the rivers in all of the world combined. Those incredible tidal forces over millennia work to sculpt and reshape the shorelines of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. It's fascinating to sit and watch as the tidal waters rise an incredible 2ft every 15 minutes! You can literally see the levels rising! This image I captured at Black Rock, Nova Scotia, the repeated tides have carved a channel through the solid rock that lines the coast. . Thank you all for looking, I hope the group enjoys and, as always, I greatly appreciate your likes, shares and kind comments." See more
"NONE OF THE MOTORCYCLES IN THIS PICTURE CAN BE SEEN IN THE TRUCKER'S MIRROR'S OR OTHER BLIND SPOTS. Take a moment and "SHARE this on your Facebook Page. IT COULD SAVE THE LIFE OF A SOMEONE YOU LOVE. ~ shared from the Goldwing World Facebook Page" Everyone needs to feel safe as 'they' travel. Today's reality may seem focused on the C-19 issues and challenges. There are others that must be recognized. All the Inns of Nova Scotia welcome cyclists and bikers and hikers on an o...ngoing basis. They're particularly vulnerable. Yet it's not only 'them' that should be concerned and attentive. Many of the Inns of Nova Scotia provide facilities and services and accommodation all 4 Seasons. Group Events may have current limitations yet there's often an opportunity that much larger facilities are unable to provide while respecting current health and safety protocols. Connect directly with inns or message us at [email protected] for assistance. ... The link for Tattingstone's offers. Tattingstone is located in Wolfville. The ancestral history of Nova Scotia and the Maritime Region never ceases to inn-spire. Visits to those special places can bring emotions to our heads and hearts that we might never otherwise expose. It feels good to better understand....before us, came others...and they are the legacy of our survival in many ways. Not to be 'political' yet it must be pointed out that governmental disrespect for these values could ruin 'it' for generations to come. Explore. Learn. Understand.... Find the path to the inner you.... Caring truly matters. www.innsofnovascotia.ca #tasteofnovascotia #visitnovascotia #innsofnovascotia #innsofns #rediscovernovascotia #staycationnovascotia

While you're sheltered by a protective roof in a comfy bed there are many of our friends in nature looking for their perfect abode. While no one can compare the amenities of an Inns of Nova Scotia to nature's best offers it can be helpful to understand the realities one might see while exploring our trails. www.innsofnovascotia.ca #staycationnovascotia #rediscovernovascotia #innsofns #innsofnovascotia #visitnovascotia #tasteofnovascotia
