Insha Dua Yoga 25.02.2021

Youre not your thoughts. Mindfulness teaches us that the mind is separate from your being. The way to fulfilling presence is to become the observer, the watcher. You can watch the thoughts without becoming them. What you are is an Infinite soul traveling in this time and place, completely untethered. You're full. You're whole. You're joy. Youre capable of anything your heart desires. You're your ancestors wildest freedom vision! ... One of my goals for 2021 is to have a daily meditation practice off to a good start thanks to @insighttimer my new favorite app to use to meditate.

Feeling feelings of potency, Magnetism & like I'm fully ready to be used for my greatest gifts. My conversations with creator has been to push me to be used for my greater purpose. I know its needed and I'm ready to fully step into whatever shoes I'm being guided to walk in. ... and just like that I go about my day and trust all my heart desires is already on it's way. ... #thankyou #words2resonate #ibelieve #itrust #allgoodthingscoming

I've been in a funk all week. I'm still finding my way on my mat, getting outside & watching the mental chatter everyday, yet I cant shake the heaviness off. That's ok, sometimes trust + surrender is what these moments teach us. At the end of the day, I have the awarness to know I am not my emotions and this too shall pass. Its ok to not be ok. Especially during a world wide pandemic. I see you. I love you. I'm here for you Grateful for all that is.

Audre Lord once was quoted while battling her last days of cancer saying "Caring for myself is not an act of self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare. Collective self- care is a necessity right now. Check on your neighbors, be available to those who need support, breathe together, offer a warm smile to a stranger, engage politically, take up space where you're not represented & practice communal gratitude. This too shall pass. I'm her...e for you. My prayers to the conscious collective is that we find the silver lining in all that is happening. May you find peace. May you find stillness. May you call upon collective strength. May you live & heal in joy. May you nurture yourself & others. May you never forget the all in-composing love that enriches us all.

We build walls as tall as the skyscrapers to shelter our vulnerability from ever being felt. We squeeze our feelings into small, tightly capped mason jars and set them in dark corners left to collect dust in fear anyone dares to open them. We would rather have shallow relationships than feel the unearthing of new parts of us reaching for the glory of the light reflected in others. This is the world we live in. Our society is terrified of love. Of feelings. Of intimacy. We wou...ld rather slap stickers that say "Dont Catch Feelings." On our hearts & minds. We detach and deactivate from our emotional bodies as a coping mechanism to not feel. We run, hide, ignore, lie & shame others for yearning for something that we are biologically wired for. I recently confronted a situation that required radical vulnerability. I stood there shivering from the nakedness of my emotions & the shock of my pounding heart. My actions did not warrant reciprocation. The silence still lingers. Yet... Dont get it twisted. vulnerability is our superpower more than ever. Our ability to feel is a gift of the feminine that will heal the broken lineage between the masculine. I am secure & safe in my own feelings. We unearth the strength to find & use our voices to express our needs without any fear. I rise & rise & rise again. keep the heart soft. Boundaries are not permanent walls. I soften, time & time again. I keep the gates to my heart flooding wide open because #God knows only love will melt the harshness of the current state of the world. Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage, #brenébrown #words2resonate #yogaforall #svedyaya #8limbsofyoga #yogaheals #softpower
