#TBT ... It's a bit grainy but we took this shot Sept. 13, 1998 at the CASCAR Super Series race at New Brunswick International Speedway (now Speedway 660). This was from the pre-race autograph session for the CARQUEST 200 when two recently announced Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame inductees - Alex Nagy and series announcer Ron St. Clair - were chatting. Nagy started on the pole and won the race, leading all but one lap en route to the win and what we believe was the biggest payday ($12,000) in CASCAR history. Another CMHF member, DJ Kennington finished second, ahead of Sean Dupuis. Not 100% sure, but we believe this race was also the final outing of Earl Ross's career. Dave Whitlock was crowned the CASCAR Super Series East champ after the race. Both Ross and Whitlock are also in the CMHF.

Whew! Now that "spectator areas in racing venues" are shut down (again... still?)... we might just survive this thing!! Yeah... cause it was the 0 to 100 people in the stands... at tracks in rural areas where there were virtually zero cases... who caused the second wave. Good move shutting 'em down... especially since racing season is over. But thank goodness those malls are still open in Toronto!... Does anyone have a clue about what they're doing?
