Overall good week for AG. Wonder if the drop in soyoil will influence the soybean price?

Looks like Alberta Harvest is progressing nicely and yields are just above average.

Futures Change for the month. Corn, Beans and canola had excellent gains.

Although production numbers are important it is the ending stocks that really tell the story. Its the relationship between production and use. If ending stocks are growing expect prices to fall.

Significant Gains in the Soybeans. Overall A good week to be long commodities.

In relation to soybeans canola in US dollars is not gaining at the same rate. Does this mean canola is starting to get toppy?

In the last 30 days looks like moisture has really dropped off making ideal harvest conditions.

Soybeans had a pretty good week and canola was down. looks like spread is narrowing.

Canola up 6% and Soybeans down 3% since July 1. It will be interesting to see what harvest pressure does to the canola. Pricing canola @ 500 on the futures is never a mistake.

Lots of moisture in the last 30 days. Much of AB is soaked. Expect big crops in light blue and green.

What are the chances of Old Crop Canola going higher in the next few months? Yesterdays news probably discounted canola at least $5/mt. Without some major news or drought the chances are pretty slim.

As of May 27 much of Alberta has good moisture. Saskatchewan is not so good.

Since Oct 1, 2019 the Minn wheat futures have dropped 4%. Yet because of the CAD dollar dropping wheat the futures price in Canadian dollars has actually gone up by 1%. Basically it equates to about 35 cents a bushel more for Canadian Farmers.
