Breast health is too often ignored until after a problem arises. It’s an area of the body with powerful associations that sometimes makes women hesitant to seek care, despite the fact that the vast majority of them experience breast discomfort at some point. Whether it’s breast congestion, abnormalities such as lumps or cysts, diagnostic tests, or surgical procedures, any breast problem can create heightened anxiety and stress that can diminish overall health. Whether you mas...sage yourself or seek out a certified therapist, breast massage can result in: - Increased circulation of blood and lymph - Reduced congestion in breast tissue - Relief from mastalgia (breast pain) - Improved posture - Restored range of motion in the upper body - Relief from mastitis (clogged ducts) - Decrease scar tissue #massage #deeptissue #therapeutic #breastmassage #lymphdrainage #lymphatics #prenatalmassage #postpartummassage #infantmassage #temoralmandibularjointdysfunction #intraoralmassage #uppercrosssyndrome #improveposture #triggerpointtherapy #myofascial #deeptissuemassage Repost from our own @jillyssa.rmt

Here is another NECK STRETCH @ YOUR DESK! A common complaint about exercise homework is that patients don’t have enough time in the day to perform the exercises. Here is another exercise for neck pain that anyone can do at their desk, at the dinner table (sorry Mom!!), or sitting in front of the TV! 1. Hold the wrist of the painful side with your opposite hand behind your back, and pull down to add some distraction.... 2. Go through Range of Motion of the neck (lateral flexion on both sides, and forward flexion) while pulling downward on the wrist. 3. Hold each neck position for 5-7 seconds. Go through each Range of Motion at least 3 times per day! Repost from @dr.paigehanmer
