Listen when one of the greatest musicians of an entire Era declares that music needs More, and music education is critically important!

So many great reasons to register your child for a music program. Add the benefits of group learning and band classes- and level up the benefits. Adults- its never too late to add music and band to your life! We will be offering Kids programming for grades 5-8 AND adult beginners classes, too! We are super hopeful for a September 2021 re-launch for the Kids programming and excited about the Possibility of a once a week Adult group starting as soon as this spring!

We're still HERE!! But it's too soon to open up again... As a mom, I know that I would be reluctant to send my kids off to a group learning wind instruments right now- and I'm going to assume that you probably are, too. So, while I've set up a schedule, I'm going to WAIT until at least the first several weeks of In Person school have happened and gauge the situation in a few weeks. I have split up the First Year learners into two classes, so that there will be fewer in each... class. I won't be doing Instrument Petting Zoo this year, but if you want a virtual meet up so your student can see and hear the instruments and ask questions- ask! I have launched Class Guitar. I was asked to do it, and because the proposed class was a single family unit that I know, I decided to try it. I will open up one more small class- with masking required. I'm hoping I can open that class up sooner than the wind instruments. While I will take preregistrations, I will NOT accept any payments or deposits until I know that we are actually safe to launch. Please request registration forms here, or email [email protected] YES- if I have enough interest to form a class, I will open time slots for Adult learners. ASK! YES- myself and some of my favourite music teachers ARE available for online lessons starting ANYTIME. ASK!

While some haven’t done as much with their musical passions and talents during this years social impediments... This person took full advantage of the time on their hands! This is amazing!

I MISS BAND CLASSES!!! BOOOO!!! I found this amazing video on youtube of adults trying to learn to play a few instruments. Digital learning is harder than in person learning, but these two did an amazing job! Check it out. These ladies are fun to watch, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch

Group guitar lessons as a safer music class alternative? Looking into the possibilities! Ideally, we want to have wind instruments, but maybe we need to pivot a bit for mask-ability. Class size would still cap at 8. If we Looove it, we’ll keep it alongside our band classes Forever. Comment if you need to be on the list! Ages 10 to.... adult beginner. Why not- the world calls for some flexibility.

Trying to stay amused, while we hope for things to get healthy! We remain hopeful for September classes. Staying flexible for class sizes and class formats! We don’t usually Offer cymbals on their own. We insist our percussion students learn at least 5 different elements... what percussion instruments can you name?

I can’t wait to get to the end of this, and get back to band. In the meantime, take online lessons, practice something fun, listen to something new, and stay healthy!
