It was almost 8 years ago when I knew flight was my answer. So I took the leap and began working and evolving through my life studies. It didn't take long for the 3:15am awakenings to begin. Then the sychronicities. So I followed the signs. Through losing my ego, coming up short, dissapointing myself, understanding what service meant to me, learning to say no, and to stand hard by my values. I worked to destroy all things that did not resonate and building on things th...at did. I've been searching softly. With compassion for my human-ness, minimizing - sometimes too much, and organizing. Preparing for whatever is to come For years I've been diligent in my own growth. For years I've made a point to travel, to heal, to experience, and to support the things close to my heart. It was hard to know what really mattered to me in this day and age. When the world can be full of opportunity and still full of BS that needs changing. But I've gotten it. I've had the chance to narrow my focus. To know what I choose to place in front of me and to move with intention towards it. I'm rooting down. The storms keep coming but now I choose. I choose my roots, I choose my tools, and I'm spreading my seed. The response has been amazing!

Full moon time for release! Are you ready to let go of that which no longer serves you? Or begin the cycle again?

So yesterday my bike was stolen. I was immediately outraged and dissappointed in myself. It was locked up but I could have had it in the garage a little more secure. I took time to sit with the anger and allowed it to dissipate slowly. I had just bought it this year. Spent a quick 200 bucks on it. It was perfect for me. I had only used it a handful of times. Still virtually brand new....and now it's gone. The second bike my family lost this year. It's just disappointi...ng. I always get to the place where I can see the bigger picture. The silver lining- if you will. The rational space that helps me let go and move on no matter what our family goes through. Someone else needed that bike....or needed to feel the success in stealing it maybe... If I needed it I would have rode it more often. If I needed it I would have stored it in a more secure space. If I needed it I'd still have it. So I'm grateful for the opportunity to move passed my own selfishness. To see that in little ways I am responsible for all things that happen to me. To look at the bigger picture and know that through my own neglect I've helped someone else achieve and attain what they need. I'm abundant. If I need a bike again. I'll ask for it and I'll receive it in a way that feels good. Supports healthy growth around me and within me. Mindset Monday...how are you contributing to your world?

I've absolutely loved my libra season but as it slowly fades into scorpio season I'm ready to root down and embrace what's to come next. Choosing intentionally how I live my life ;)

I look around and again and again I see the women around me rising. Stepping forward to walk their paths with confidence...even if its behind their shaking voices. Woman engaging and expressing a passion that is unmatched. Women who drive me into an awestruck state and remind me that what I'm doing is my strength and I'm right on course. I've never seen such a beautiful time as right now.

The struggle is real. To find a perfect balance for respecting the flow life gives you and accepting that this life is meant to fill you with joy. I've been steamrolled. More times than I care to admit. And more times as an adult than when I was a teen. For a long time I believed in accepting life as it was put in front of me.
