Something I’d like to clarify for those who may not know; every weather app (make that, every app) on the market from big to small has a % of their users that experience bugs. Our % is actually extremely low for a relatively new app and with this many new users in such a short period of time. The difference is, we like to put it all out in the open. I’ve personally suffered in silence with software and app bugs since the late 80’s and I’ve decided the only way to run IW is ...with development transparency and open communication for everyone using the app. A big reason for that approach is that this community has entirely funded this project. No investors, no board of directors, just our generous, extraordinary community members that have believed in us from the beginning and have stuck by our side through thick and thin. We answer only to this community and we will stop at nothing to get this right. This is your app as much as it’s ours and we will continue to carefully listen to your candid feedback, aggressively go after bugs, and work with you one by one until everyone in our community is receiving the best possible forecasting and alerting services available. Thank you for joining us on this wild adventure and I can honestly say it’s inspiring to wake up every day to this amazing community knowing that with every tweak and every small improvement, this app will continue to become something truly special and useful for all of us. - Adam

We don’t say this enough; thank you so very much for your reports! They are so super critical for us to verify what’s actually happening on the ground compared to what we’re seeing on radar. App timeline update: Good morning! And how are you this lovely Sunday? I’m super excited to get back to development this Monday! Weekends are fun but I really l...ook forward to Mondays. It makes sense for those who work Monday-Friday to look forward to the weekend but it seems that many of us still demonize Mondays. If you really love what you do, Mondays quickly become your favourite day of the week! Here’s the latest todo list: Monday: - Finalizing fixes for alerts that get stuck after they’ve ended (this was planned for Tuesday but we’ve bumped it up to Monday) Monday - Wednesday: - New update being released in the next few days with improvements for condition images, multiple alerts in the dropdown, and a few other fixes. Next: - Once app is approved, we’ll quietly launch in order to do final tests on in-app purchases, etc. - Once everything looks solid, we will move forward with the public launch followed by an extensive promotional campaign. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected and specifically, the two who were injured by the EF3 tornado that touched down in Elk Mound & Wheaton on Tues...day.
