Chilblains alert with record-breaking cold temperatures! Chilblains are red, itchy swellings on the skin that occur as a reaction to sudden change to cold temperatures. They are often painful but that can be reduced by keeping the feet warm in thick cotton socks. If your chilblains become ulcerated or infected, please have them assessed and treated by one of our chiropodists as soon as possible!

Neuroma is a sharp, burning pain that typically occurs at the ball of the foot between the toes when the nerve becomes inflamed.
