What better way to start off 2021 with our first post highlighting a few of our amazing team members. Our annual employee recognition awards are peer-nominated and presented each year during our Christmas party. We wanted to share this amazing group of individuals and why they were so deserving of their respective awards. The Integrated Sustainability Christmas Party is one of our most coveted and anticipated events of the entire year. We're heartbroken that we won't be able to gather together this year, but our team has put together an amazing virtual event to be hosted tomorrow - and we can't wait! Every year, our team selects some amazing party raffle prizes with all the proceeds donated to a local charity of choice. We are proud to be supporting some amazing local businesses this year such... as WineCollective, BlondieBasket, Orchard Restaurant, A1 Bodega & Cafe, local ski resorts, and Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge! We know how important it is to support our local community during these trying times, and we are happy to have been able to contribute what we can. As many people are signing off today for their holiday breaks, we would like to wish everyone all the best this holiday season. The much-anticipated Water Conservation Policy for Upstream Oil and Gas Operations (the Policy) has been released by Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP). This new policy replaces the Water Conservation and Allocation Policy for Oilfield Injection (2006), incorporating water conservation as a requirement for all major upstream oil and gas operations. Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is working towards removing regulatory barriers for use of alternatives, and guidance on Policy i...mplementation will be released shortly.
