There are so many things to look forward to this time of year. Like the blooms of a #Christmascactus. This plant used to struggled, he was a grocery store rescue who was on his death bed, then I set him in this pot (still in the nursery pot, most of the plant is hiding in the pot) and set him a in sunny window! He gets watered every 1-2 weeks, sometimes less probably. This is the first time he has bloomed for me! ... What do you love about this time of year? #Sansevieria (aka #snakeplant) is hands down our favourite type of #houseplant (shhhh don’t tell the others)! Here’s why: They are #lowmaintenance and #droughttolerant, they actually prefer to dry out between waterings.... They can handle almost any lighting conditions. The brighter the indirect light the better, but, these guys will survive in darker corners and can adapt to higher lighting conditions. There are many different cultivars, offering a wide variety of colours and shapes to choose from. We started Interior View as two crazy plant ladies trying to support our planty addiction. All we knew was that we needed to share our love and passion for plants with the community and to make it easier for every space to achieve some jungle vibes. Two best buds just wanting to spend their days surrounded by beautiful foliage together. I’d say in 2019 we achieved that goal. ... 2020 is full of uncertainty and changes. With 11 years between us, Chelsea and I are at different stages of our lives working through these changes. With that, we have made the decision to end our business partner relationship. Chelsea will always be a big part of Interior View and she will still work with us, except now I get to boss her around. Thank you Chelsea for standing beside me always.
