#IAGFeaturedArtistWednesday ZHONG Ruihe, Born in Raoping, Guangdong Province of China, now residing in Vancouver.Zhong Ruihe's landscape paintings are elegant and simple in style. Two major characteristics of his works: First, he pays attention to the description of the artistic conception, and the paintings have an elegant and quiet charm. Secondly, the artistic form is novel. He has fusioned the brush and ink strokes of Chinese painting and the contrast of light and dark, v...irtual reality of Western painting to display his own unique artistic expressions. His paintings are quiet and tranquil in spirit, and appears like a cool stream flowing onto the street in a hot and busy city centre. Zhong Ruihe's paintings are genuine and not showing off. They are very confident, calm, and compose, revealing to us that his paintings are becoming more and more literary and poetic. This is very basic pursuit and ultimate goal for artists. : , See more
