Featuring Karolina Rabeda as this months pre-professional dancer at i.d.a. Karolina is one of Ms. Gerasolo's very first students. She began training with Ms. Ida to help with her rhythmic gymnastics, nearly a decade ago. As a national rhythmic champion, Karolina decided to join i.d.a. to try out the ballet world. Her hard work, persistence, and determination had her dancing her very first solo on stage after only 6 months of training. Karolina is taking a break from dance to focus on her academic pursuits. We wish her all the best and can't wait to see her back in the studio in January!

Intermediate Pre-Professionals take home 1st runner up, and 1st overall in the junior division at En pointe and Just Dance competition in Chatham! So proud of these ballerinas!

Today some of the students of i.d.a. Celebrated World Ballet Day with Ms. Tchernova at The National Ballet of Canada In Studio! Thank you Ms. Tchernova for an amazing class! You truly inspire us all with your love, passion and dedication to the ballet world!

February is the month of love and we can't help but feature our pre-professional ballerina Pilar Bianchini whose love for ballet shines each and every day. We would like to congratulate Pilar, as her commitment to the art through rough times and of course the great times have lead to her acceptance into The School of American Ballet. Congratulations Pilar, we are all so proud of you!

IDA back at Canada's National Ballet School preparing for this weekends competition in Niagara Falls.

Every month I.D.A. will feature one of their students from the Pre-Professional Program. This month we would like to introduce you to Eva. When I.D.A. opened its doors to the public, Eva was the first student accepted into the Pre-Professional Program. Her work ethic, dedication and love for the ballet world has allowed her to grow and become a shining example of what a student can accomplish as they strive towards their goals and aspirations.
