#ThruTheLookingGlass has come to a close. When Megan Whalen & Pat Whalen performed with ISO member Fil Stasiak and Deep South West in our triptych window space ...on Saturday July 25th, we had no idea it would turn into the biggest downtown rent party of the summer. Yesterday's surprise finale with the Sarnia Legion Pipe Band was a rousing and bittersweet end to 10 Saturdays of ISO pandemic support. We're grateful to #MaryJeanODonnell and #AlanCalvert from #SarniaLambtonChamber, who joined with Sarnia City Council to create this opportunity. We are extremely grateful to #NormaLynnDownie for her generous donation of sound equipment from the Showcase Players group. What started in Chatham as a Wheels Inn bus tour group evolved into a full-dress entertainment operation, featuring mostly musicals but also murder mysteries, medieval feasts and Christmas shows. For 15 years Norma Lynn was the hyphenate force behind the group, and when they finished operations she donated, among other items, over 1000 costumes -- and as you can see, a bit of tech stuff too.
