Culture, Ethnicity & God’s story II: Perspectives whether you have done the foundations module (I) or not, come join in our discussion as we listen to different voices and resources to expand our understanding of people made in the image of God. Psalms: Making Beauty & Living Honestly this group is learning to pray with and respond to Psalms while creating artistic responses to express ourselves to God and to others (Check out this re-write of Psalm 22: https://ivcf.ca/students-creatively-adapt-the-psalms/) Interwoven blog - practice your witness through composing written reflections on various topics to share with others (Read our blog: https://ivcf.ca/campus/connectoncampus/ivcf-bc/blog/) Closed modules (registration deadline is Nov. 13) are Culture, Ethnicity & God’s Story I: Foundations If you missed the first module, it’s being offered again. This group is discussing how multiethnicity is integral to God’s story. Faith, Sexuality & Gender: Gender this group is exploring how we understand and talk about gender from the Christian perspective. ALSO, there’s still space in our spiritual disciplines: Bible Marathon and Sunrise & Scripture. Find accountability as you make Scripture and prayer a regular part of life! We spent time colouring our prayers with new friends in Ecuador today who are a part of CECE (Communidad de Estudiantes Cristianos del Ecuador). Please pray for students far and near. 1) mental health support and healing 2) February presidential elections in Ecuador... 3) spiritual strength and wisdom for student coordinators/leaders and staff leading during covid-19 4) Those grieving the loss of family members due to covid-19 5) our art would encourage others and communicate the gospel 6) God would use our gifts and passions to share the hope and grace of Jesus Christ 7) new students and new campus ministries would grow See more
