Employee Highlight Saad Zora, Account Manager -Any random facts you could share with us?... I love music, I spend my leisure time practicing on my turntables. I create turntable routines and share them on Instagram and Facebook. My routines are a mix mash of funk, soul, hip-hop, and electronic. -You like to eat- but if you had to choose, what would you say is your all-time favourite meal? I’m a lover of all food. My taste palette welcomes flavours from all over the world; Indian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Asian, and everywhere else, really. However, my favourite food right now is anything from the delicious Newfoundland fried chicken franchise; Mary Browns. - What has been your favourite project at InTouch? There have been many fun projects here at InTouch, but if I were to choose one, it would have to be the Family SOS video project. It was wonderful working with a non-profit organization that does so much for the community and people in need. We had a blast developing the concept and working with the Family SOS team. Back to the office- something we couldn’t forecast at the beginning of this. There was so much uncertainty if working from home would be our reality for a few weeks, a few months or years. After 2.5 months at home, we’ve reviewed the government's recommendations and are back in action- with a few changes. We’re ensuring our staff are fully equipped with all PPE and products they need to stay healthy and happy and we’ve rearranged our desks again! For the time being, we’ll ...still be taking meetings over the phone or video chat until the government reduces restrictions further and we can ensure complete safety for our staff. Thanks for your patience during these changes and sticking with us!

It's hard to believe, but InTouch's team has been working from home for more than 8 weeks! Although we do miss our office, we're making the best of it and have our 'Work From Home' stations perfected to fit our new work environment. We've learned some tips to help keep motivated and focused while working from home: 1. Pretend you are going to the office. That means brushing your hair and teeth, getting dressed and brewing your coffee to go- 10 feet to your desk.... 2. Break your day down into tasks and give yourself timelines to complete those tasks. This helps with avoiding distractions from your partner who's been trying to record the same Tik Tok video for 45 minutes straight. 3. Do your most important work when you find yourself most productive. Are you a morning person? Great- do your big deliverables before noon. Afternoon pep? Schedule that important meeting after lunch. 4. Keep morale high by having face-to-Facetime chats with your teammates. Not only does this help with smooth task delegation, but it boosts morale - we seriously miss each other! We've been adamant about providing the same quality of work, despite our changed dynamic; we're making the best of these times and we're happy and thankful to still be able to provide our services for local businesses in our area.
