We're about a week late, because.. well..who really knows what day it is anymore BUT WE TURNED 5!! Intrigued Events is celebrating our FIFTH Birthday this month and we couldn't be happier. It feels like just yesterday we were opening our brand new box of business cards and venturing out on our own... but in reality we have made 5 YEARS worth of friendships, 5 YEARS worth of video footage of y'all dancing (heehee), 5 YEARS of tears during speeches (especially for Candice), and 5 YEARS of life long memories. Today is (Sm)ashleys birthday! I honestly could never have imagined a better business partner, but to say that's all she is, is an understatement. This woman is the best road trip pilot- always pulling some sort of shenanigans to make the drive the best part of the adventure. She is my favourite plane buddy and will sing songs about the horrible outcomes of a plane crash just to make sure you are incredibly uncomfortable. Her dance moves are all elbows and hip twists and so...metimes the occasional foot stomp, and you are certain to be the better dancer on the floor when you are with her. You will laugh until you cry in her presence, and sometimes you will cry until you laugh also. She's THAT kind of friend. Ash puts her family and friends above herself and never asks for anything in return. She won't just give you the shirt off her back, she will make you one with a ridiculous saying on it and she will proudly walk beside you as you embarrass yourself and her in the process.
