Fernando Barba passed away today. It is un incommensurable loss in the world of body percussion. He was the founder of Barbatuques, the band that more than any other popularized body percussion in the world. So beautiful thr way he carried on the infinite and incredible Brazilian patrimony of rhythm and music through Body Percussion. He has been a source of inspiration for every artist who practice body percussion. Although I never had the chance of meeting him, I fed myself of all the video of him I could find. Rest in peace Mr Barba. Wherever you are now.
