My youngest attended this Montessori and we loved it, and now a CSA!!

As most of you know, we were forced to postpone the trivia for little Lily due to Covid-19. We are all looking forward to holding the fundraiser in the fall bu...t in the meantime this wonderful young family still have to make at least 3 trips weekly to CHEO and cover all the expenses related to this. For those who don't know Lily's story, in her 5 short years of life she has undergone 8 major surgeries and endless medical procedures. In the fall of 2019, Lily's kidneys failed. Her Mom, Lauren will be donating one of hers but this surgery has also been postponed until later this year. One of the donations for the trivia night was this amazing basket of Lindt chocolates, valued at $150.00. SO - We thought with Easter just a few days away it might be a good idea to have an on-line draw with all proceeds going to this deserving young family. Tickets will be $5 each. If you are interested in helping out with this, please e-transfer the money to me at [email protected]. You shouldn’t need a security question or password as I have automatic deposit. I will fill out a ballot, take a picture of it and enter it in the draw. The draw will take place Friday April 10th and local contactless delivery/pickup will be arranged. This would be something fun that our community can do with school closed Hey Neighbours! Over the next few weeks, many of us will be increasing our time spent at home. If you have young children it can be hard to find things to do all day, for potentially 21 days. And not lose your mind. So I was thinking about a way for our community to still get outside and do something fun, without touching or coughing on each other. St Patrick’s day is coming up I thought it’d be fun to have a city wide Shamrock Hunt! All you have to do is put a Shamrock in your window on March 17th. That’s it! Color it, paint it, cut it out, print it from the printer, whatever. Then we can get outside, drive around and see how many Shamrocks we can find! It would be awesome to post pictures of your finds back here. It’s easy. No human contact. Get fresh air. Don’t buy toilet paper. Just put a shamrock in your window.
