Leave No Trace Canada themed Survival Camp at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. First of two sessions this summer!

We’ve finally been getting some clear weather in Central and Southern Ontario, in the last couple of weeks, and I’ve had plenty of wonderful opportunities to take advantage of it. On the 15th, I had the opportunity to spread the Leave No Trace / Sans trace Canada message at MEC Barrie Paddlefest. This past weekend, I spent a beautiful two days at YMCA Geneva Park offering a Leave No Trace / Sans trace Canada Trainer course to the summer staff. ... Leave No Trace / Sans trace Canada is pleased to welcome a wonderful group of up-and-coming Outdoor Educators to our roster of qualified Trainers! Thanks to MEC and YMCA Geneva Park for inviting me out! Today, I got to go on a fabulous hike with my dear friend Kate of Kate Ming-Sun Outdoors and The Quiet Guiding Company on The Great Trail to the Cheltenham Badlands! The Quiet Guiding Company still has a few spaces left on their expeditions this year. Do yourself a favour and check them out, before you’re too late! The summer slips by fast, get out and enjoy it!
