We now have a designated drop off bin for you to place your paintings in at the Town of Inuvik Office, day or night. ... We will be checking the bin for new paintings everyday. 2021 SUNRISE FESTIVAL While the sun set for the final time in 2020, we are already looking forward to its return on January 6th. We also know that residents have begun to plan and look forward to the Annual Inuvik Sunrise Festival. We too love this event, but as with most things, it will look a little different this year. Pending approval from the Office of the Chief Public Health Officers, the Town of Inuvik will be hosting our Fireworks display on Saturday 9 January. Our ...team is also working on plans for alternative family-friendly activities that adhere to the Government of the Northwest Territories Emerging Wisely Protocols to ensure the health and wellness of our residents. This year we were especially pleased to welcome special guests from the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club who were great volunteers, participants, and community champions during their time in Inuvik.
