Did you know that two mega Cape Breton talents contributed music to the making of Bocan. Michael S. Ryan, of The Town Heroes, composed the film's score and cont...ributed his beautiful solo composition for our closing song. Ashley MacIsaac, contributed 5 fantastic pieces of traditional Cape Breton tunes to be used within the films, including Baa! the short animation. Without the generous contributions both musicians gave to our film, it certainly would not have the authentic Cape Breton feel we tried to capture when making the film. We are truly grateful to have such amazing collaboration in our very first, Gaelic language short film. See more

Since moving back to Inverness in 2016 to start his own electrical company he's wanted to get involved in film locally. On Bócan he worked as set electrician, writer and co directed one film with Cindy O'Neil. See more
