Today I'm learning how to make my own basic curry powder. This is the base for a lot of our curries and apparently made of of a lot of different lentils...

Ajima is grinding lentils so we are practicing kitchen safety.

So I just discovered this delicious veggie! It tastes a little like a cucumber, but looks kinda like a teeny tiny watermelon.

Today's cooking session. One favourite (okra) one I've made before (coriander chutney) and one new, Garlic curry.
