The City of St. Catharines is stimulating investment in affordable housing, commercial redevelopment, heritage preservation, brownfield remediation and more, through its new Community Improvement Plan (known as the 2020CIP). Applications are now open for the following 2020CIP programs: - Tax Increment Finance Program (TIF) - Brownfield Tax Increment Finance Program (BTIF)... - Brownfield Tax Assistance Program (BTA) - Façade Improvement Program (FIP). For the TIF and BTIF programs, there are two deadline dates for submission of complete applications during 2021. The first intake closes June 30.
