Okanagan Companies make 2021 Ready to Rocket List

Applications are now open online for the Increased Employment Incentive (IEI) from the Provincial Government. The increased employment incentive allows employers to apply for a one-time tax credit. The credit is 15% of the amount that the employer’s total eligible remuneration for all eligible employees in the qualifying period exceeds the employer’s total eligible remuneration for all eligible employees in the base period. The City of West Kelowna is in the process of creating an updated Community Vision, which will form the first phase of the update to the Official Community Plan. As part of the development of a refined Vision, the City is holding a series of Online Community Workshops to provide an opportunity for interested community members to discuss key topics with the project team, other community members... and subject matter experts.
