A Huge thank you to Kirstin Lukasko for helping prepare little miss A-Maz-ing (Maze) for her first confirmation show.
What do I think: I believe your puppy will be as good as you are as a owner/trainer. Invest the time and what you can accomplish is limitless. For example here is Twizzler and yes she lives with rabbits for 7 years now!
A fantastic FREE course offered by Ed Frawley aimed at New pet owners, or those who want to learn how to efficiently manage a household with one or more dogs https://university.leerburg.com/Catalog/viewCourse/cid/14/
Bringing a new dog into a home is always an exciting time. It's like adding a new family member or guest to the household. While much has been written on bringing puppies into the home - very little has been written about bringing new adult dogs into the home. This article should help you make some decisions that will ease the transition. https://leerburg.com/introducingdogs.htm
The question I seem to be getting a lot lately is German Pinschers good with children. My usual answer is: what kind of parent are you, one that teaches both the child and dog respect for each other? This couple has done their due diligence!!
Just another reason we do not recommend punishing your dog for aggressive behaviour. Shouting, scolding or physically reprimanding them will not cure this con...dition. It is more likely to create a fear of falling asleep as your dog worries whether they will be unexpectedly woken and punished. Dogs will not be able to associate the reaction to the punishment as it was not conscious or deliberate. They will associate sleeping with the punishment. -Emma Bowdrey See more
Best part of the day is snuggling up with these guys
