My hat is off to Bandcamp. The rare corporation that actually supports the artists it represents. Yesterday was the second time they waived all earnings in order to allow artists to collect 100% of the revenue made from purchases of their music off the site. Having learned of the tragic passing of band leader Tres Warren yesterday, I wanted to share with everyone some of the incredible music of Psychic Ills . As you know we recently lost Mazzy Star mastermind David Roback as well. These two bands were intrinsically linked and even worked together to magnificent effect. Ills are criminally underrated and if you are a Mazzy fan, or a fan of any burned out paisley psychedelic jangle or dusty cosmic country type music, I cannot recommend them enough.
