IODE Dewdney Chapter

IODE Dewdney Chapter received Gaming Funds again this year to help them give back to the community. Our projects for this year are in Mapple Ridge. We will purchase equipment for the North Fraser Threapeutic Riding Association and purchase equipment for the Mckenny Creek Hospice. If you have an IODE Chapter in your Community, why not join and help them contribute to your community?

IODE Dewdney Chapter has received Gaming Funds again to carry out the good work that they do in Maple Ridge, Port Coquitlam, Abbotsford and Chilliwack. This year we are helping McKenny Creek Hospice and the North Fraser Therapeutic Riding Assn.

Dr W.J. Knox Chapter in Kelowna is struggling to keep their Thrift Shop at 1425 Ellis St., Kelowna open as they do not have enough women power. Are there any of you in Kelowna who could become IODE members or help them out with a few hours in the shop each week?

The 2017 Provincial Mary Emerson Award that Dewdney Chapter was awarded was used to purchase office equipment and presentation equipment for the Abbotsford Alzheimer's Society. The Society does presentations and provides written materials to much of the eastern Fraser Valley. If you live in the Fraser Valley, you may like to join IODE Dewdney Chapter and help us help the community.

In December, Dewdney Chapter donated 2 bridles to the North Fraser therapeutic Riding Association.
