During this time we will be updating our ordering systems and making changes to the structural side of our day to day operations to better serve you. So unfortunately our planned Christmas fundraiser didn’t happen this year, BECAUSE WE’VE DONE ONE BETTER! PLEASE READ! This week I notified our staff that they would be receiving Christmas bonuses this year. The response I got really threw me off, as each and every single staff member opted to donate their own personal Christmas bonuses to charity this year. We were going to implement measures to donate a dollar amount from every sale to charity in early December, but with h...ow tough it’s been this year for everyone, I just couldn’t do it. I feel like as a company during this time of need, we should not pressure anyone into having to buy something from our business, in order to donate to a local charity or cause. It just didn’t sit comfortably with me, so I opted out and was going to donate from the business on my own. Knowing how I felt about this, the staff turned around and surprised me by donating their Christmas bonuses to the charitable donation fund I had set aside. I could not believe it! I can’t stop thinking about how selfless this group at iOptic is, and I couldn’t be more thankful for my staff. Their kindness, their caring nature, and their humanitarian gestures really make me a proud business owner here in Thunder Bay. Tomorrow we will make our donation, after some planning today, as to where we should donate locally. Suggestions are also welcome! Thank you, Warren

Just an update as we are starting to get prepared, in hopes of a re-opening date which is yet still to be determined by the Province of Ontario. As of right now, we are still closed, and are only able to handle emergency or urgent care situations only. Thanks to @signsnowthunderbay for supplying our sneeze/protective guards that work and fit perfectly on our dispensing tables for when we do open! Public health and safety is most important at this time, and we will take all ...precautionary measures possible to ensure you feel safe and comfortable in our establishment.
