Eliminating the white border means less distraction from the lead-glass window.
Too busy to get your home ready to sell? I got that. Decluttering, de-stickering, re-accessorizing, revamping, tidying, twisting, polishing and painting. It'll be like a new house, without even selling.
A few years ago already, I had the opportunity to work on four bedrooms in a lovely century home. These rooms required many hours of surface preparation prior to painting. My wallpaper removal and plaster repair skills got a great workout! The homeowner had a preference for Farrow & Ball paint, so I had the opportunity to use their primer undercoats, estate emulsion, full gloss and floor paint.

It's all about transformations
I was worried about these walls, there seemed to be a lot of cracks. Turns out, it was the paint that was cracked. Three layers of latex over oil. Similar to stripping wallpaper, I removed all the loose paint before applying a proper primer. Underneath those layers of paint there was a solid, smooth wall. Definitely worth starting fresh, to get a flawless finish and avoid problems in the future.
These clients made two great choices: the new colour - SW Iron Ore, (a modern colour which could be found in the brick) and they chose to have the frame painted out in the same colour as the door. Updated curb appeal in a matter of hours.
'Simply White' cabinets, waiting for new countertop and backsplash
http://benjaminsrealty.com/simple-reno-sold-home/ This was a great project to work on. I put a lot of effort into painting ceilings, walls, cabinets and trim, but the results really paid off!
So, I finally found some time to paint our own fireplace surround. I used some leftover 'Clunch' Farrow & Ball paint. It's the F&B Undercoat that makes the difference.
