November 2020 Meeting Hi folks just a little update on our next meeting. Well as you can appreciate, we will NOT be able to have one. Due to the new AHS restrictions we can only have 15 people for gatherings. However, we are thinking of trying a ZOOM meeting so we can at least meet. What do you think about that? I already have a ZOOM account so I can send out the invite via email. If you don’t have Zoom you will have to down load it to your computer, tablet or IPad at zoom....us and follow the instructions. Not sure how well it works on phones. At the present time I have a club email list so I will start there and send out a test email. I am sure some will bounce back but then we will know which ones are good. Thanks very much for your cooperation.

By the way forgot to mention that there will be no auction until we can figure out what to do sanitation wise. As for the few of members who sell their wares at the meetings, if you could not do so for the October meeting it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone for your understanding

Roy and a couple of us had a quick meeting this weekend and we will be trying a meeting this coming Thursday Oct 8th. We will have to follow the Covid19 rules as set out by AHS, the city and the hall. Here are a couple of guidelines that we will be implementing. - 50 people maximum - Signage for social distancing and mask wearing - Masks and sanitizers available... - Whatever we use will have to be cleaned after such as the tables and chairs. This meeting will be to see how we can proceed for the year and how to implement the rules and regs. We will not have a raffle and no donuts available. We will also suspend membership renewals at this meeting to limit contact and money exchange. We will have some drinks but it will be served. We will have a counter as people come into the hall and as we reach 50 we will have to close the doors. Also, we have will have to record names and numbers for contact tracing. Well as expected our June show is officially cancelled. We received word from the city last week that the location is shut down until at least the end of June. One bright star in all of this is that we will be receiving a refund so nothing lost to the club. We did spend some money on the awards blocks but the printing was not done as yet. The awards were going to be very nice this year. Hopefully the other shows for our colleagues later on in the year are able to go ahead and we do wish them the best of luck in that endeavour.
