Yesterday we continued our attendance at SEAMO-SPAFA with several presentations and a organized session on Current Archaeology in Myanmar.
We have the privilege to have several of our members present papers at SEAMO-SPAFA conference on a variety of topics.
Another evening lecture at the IRAW@Bagan team with Ellie Tamura Temples of the Classical Kingdom of Bagan, Myanmar.
Tonight Saw Tun Lynn provided the members of the IRAW@Bagan team with a excellent lecture on ceramics.
When it’s 42 Celsius it’s nice for the survey team to duck into a pagoda for a special lunch.
After a long hot day and 1 km of survey transects the IRAW@Bagan survey team reached Otein Taung. Otein Taung is a massive ceramic midden behind the team!
Even when it’s 43 degrees the IRAW@Bagan team is hard at work doing surface collections.
Here on the IRAW@Bagan project we love to learn. This evening Gyles Iannone presented a lecture on our larger project and goals.
