Take the end of this black adhesive with your fingers or a tweezer and slowly pull back the adhesive until it is completely removed. Sometime you have to take out the taptic engine so you have enough space and the adhesive is not cut when you are pulling it. 3. Repeat the same procedure for the other adhesives attached to the battery. 4. A common issue that I am running into with clients who have iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus phones is that they cannot hear the other party and vice versa. Almost all clients believe it is a speaker or mic issue and it is easily repairable. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The root cause of this issue is the Audio IC (Integrated Chip) that is responsible for handling audio in the phone. This Audio IC on the logicboard gets easily damaged in different ways such as falls or mis...handling of the phone. Also this could be a manufacturing issue that with time the soldering becomes loose and it loses its connection to the board. In the latter case it needs "reballing". Testing a phone afte a repair is as important as fixing the phone. One of the common issues that technicians miss is testing the proximity sensor for an iPhone repair.
