The Ireland-Canada Centre for Commerce, Calgary (ICCC) presents a free Zoom event on Wednesday, October 28th from noon to 1pm with Ireland’s new Ambassador of Canada, Jamaica and The Bahamas, Eamonn C. McKee. ‘A Conversation with Ireland's new Ambassador’ will explore Eamonn C. McKee’s focus during his time in Canada. Eamonn C. McKee has served a number of times in the Anglo-Irish Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs working on the Northern Ireland Peace Process and has also served at the Embassy in Washington and at the Consulate General, New York. Calgary Chieftains GAA hold their annual AGM on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 6 PM MDT 11:45 PM MDT at Inner City Brewing Company All registered members are invited to attend the AGM. Alcohol will not be served during the AGM, but members are more than welcome to arrive early for a drink before 6pm. In order to attend the end of year events afterwards, attendees must pay for their seat ahead of time and get named on the guest list. Due to Covid-19 restrictions our event is... capped at 50 people and getting your name on the guest list will be done on a first come first serve basis. Ticket Prices: are $20 for club members and $30 for non members, which will grant entry into Inner City, a burger & fries, & 1 drink of choice (16oz pint, single highball or 5oz glass of wine). (If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know before Wednesday, Oct 21st) In order to confirm your place at our event please send your money to [email protected] We will be adhering to all Covid-19 protocols and must know the attendance numbers prior to the event for seating purposes.
