We are not worried about his eventual maturity, there has been evidence of his ability however his intrest in breeding is zero. Nada. Which the does find quite irritating. And they are off! Breeding season has officially begun. The paperwork is back and the herd has tested negative for both Johnnes and CAE. Do three animals qualify as a herd? Well if not, it is a start. We are extra excited for the 2020 kidding season, not only for our own kids but we are also expecting the arrival of two new beautiful doelings from Garden Gate AND hopefully a new buckling. Bella’s pedigree is nothing short of impressive. Another fine example of Garden Gate genetics, she has a lovely level topline, wide hips, correct dairy character and is our herd clown. The Khor-i-Nor Diamond is one of the largest in the British Crown Jewel collection and this buckling is just as precious in our own herd. Known around the barn as Finn, bouncy, sweet and ears for days! We hope his dairy character and smeared on udder of his dam pass on to his offspring.

Bliss hails from exceptional bloodlines filled with smeared on udders, excellent milk performance, correct conformation and sweet temperaments. One of a set of triplets born to a mother who was herself a quint, we expect great things from this doeling.
