Iron Body Coaching 23.05.2021

Life is a series of events, a cumulative of everything we have ever done, had done to us, or thought has been done to us. The other night I was meditating and had this realization, that I have held so many people to an unrealistic standard. When I was breaking it down in my mind, I started to realize that it was because I had a ridiculously high standard set for myself, it was borderline impossible to achieve. Sometimes it is hard to take an objective look at our lives and ...say "yup, that's the one that got me, that's the one that messed me up". Sometimes it isn't one thing at all. Chances are you're not messed up either... Taking the time to dive into your own mind can be a life-changing event, because most people don't take the time to do it! Hell, I'm 36 years old and had never really stopped to do it myself. Learning to let go of the things that we have believed that no longer serve us is critical in living our best lives. Love yourself enough to let go of the things that no longer serve you. Calories in vs. Calories out.... This is the way you get to lose weight and improve your body composition. It is simple when you break it down on paper, but taking a deeper look it gets a bit more tricky. If calories in vs out was all that matters, in theory I should be able to eat 8 of these cookies in exchange for 30 minutes in the sauna pod right?? What about the quality of those Calories? What about the rest of my energy expenditure during the day? What about the rest of ...my meals? Caloric intake is where you can start to see the changes you are shooting for!! On a side note I don't use the sauna to effectively cancel out eating like garbage. The picture was just for reference. So many people get hung up on losing weight and the number on the scale..... BUT we need to begin to think about why is this number so important to us? Happiness doesnt come from a number on a scale or from weighing a certain amount.... it comes from within. ... Happiness comes from loving ourselves and the body we have. Rather then focusing on weighing less, think about changing your body composition. Focus on gaining lean mass and losing fat mass. Focus on being overall healthier.
